does change to "No surround" setting in Audio menu resolve the issue?

Be sure only Formuler Box is connected/paired with your speaker and turn surround off.
Sorry but no, i don`t use external speakers for such devices, except AVR receiver and DS speakers.
Maybe someone from Community can recommend something if they use same config.
