    Hello everybody!


    New to this forum, bought my first Formuler box 2 weeks ago a Z mini and so far

    its been working great! The best box i ever used! I am very happy!


    I want to connect to my FTP server with my Z Mini and download some content to watch, installed VLC

    and want to try this out on the Z mini but i cant find any FTP client software like FileZilla.


    My question is if there is a easy way to connect to a ftp server? what software to use?

    Yes, download in playstore the app: file manager plus.

    And then behind remote button you can find samba, (s)ftp, etc...

    Also you can set it up the app as ftp server i thought.

    File Manager Plus works! Connected to my FTP server and downloaded a small file

    just to test and it worked :thumbs_up:


    Now waiting for my USB hub to arrive so i can add some more storage and do some more

    testing.

    Want to try download mkv files with File Manager Plus and see if they work with VLC as soon

    as the USB hub arrives.

    Bought this cheap hub from aliexpress https://www.aliexpress.com/item/100500611…dapt=4itemAdapt

    Hope it will work together with a usb stick.

    Eager also to try scheduled recording of the next F1 race and also test time shift.

    Happy with the Z Mini, want to make maximum use of this box :smiling_face:
