  • Hello Formuler Team,

    I’m trying to understand a persistent playback issue on my Formuler Z12 Ultra and would really appreciate any technical insight or possible solution.

    I have tested extensively using the same live sports replay (football match content originally in 4K 50fps), and I consistently observe a very specific behavior depending on the application used.

    ---

    ## 🧪 Setup

    * Formuler Z12 Ultra
    * Output set to 4K 50Hz
    * All system display settings left at default / standard
    * Only Dynamic Acceleration is disabled on the display side
    * Identical video content used for all tests

    ---

    ## 🧪 Test 1 – MyTVOnline 3 vs other IPTV application

    ### MyTVOnline 3:

    * Auto frame rate OFF
    * Same replay tested (4K 50fps sports content)
    * Result: visible stuttering appears specifically during transitions:

    * match → halftime studio
    * studio → return to match
    * studio → commercials
    * The stuttering is consistent and repeatable at the same moments.

    ### Other IPTV application (same device):

    * Same replay and same timestamps
    * Result: completely smooth playback
    * No stuttering during any transitions (studio, ads, or return to match)

    ---

    ## 🧪 Test 2 – MyTVOnline 3 with Auto Frame Rate enabled

    * Auto frame rate ON
    * Same behavior observed as Test 1
    * Stuttering still appears during the same transitions (studio / ads / match switching)

    ---

    ## 🧪 Test 3 – Older Formuler device (MyTVOnline 1)

    * Same replay tested
    * MyTVOnline 1 used
    * Result: perfectly smooth playback
    * No stuttering at all during transitions

    ---

    ## 🔍 Key observations

    * The issue is NOT related to the display or TV, since other applications play the same content smoothly.
    * The issue is NOT related to the source material, since the same replay is perfectly smooth elsewhere.
    * The issue appears specifically with MyTVOnline 3 on the Z12 Ultra.
    * MyTVOnline 1 on an older Formuler device does NOT show this behavior.
    * Another IPTV application on the Z12 Ultra also plays the same content perfectly without any stuttering.

    ---

    ## ❓ Question

    Has anyone experienced similar behavior specifically with MyTVOnline 3 when playing 4K 50fps live sports content, especially during transitions between match/studio/ad segments?

    Could this be related to frame pacing, decoding pipeline, or a known issue with MyTVOnline 3?

    Is there any advanced setting or workaround that can fully eliminate these micro-stutters?

    Any technical explanation or advice would be greatly appreciated.

    Knowing that I had already raised this issue last November.

  • Did you try an cerfified HDMI 2.1 cable and did you set HDMI port on tv to "enhanced format",thereby increasing bandwith up to between 18 and 42?

  • Very soon will come update for Z12 that change very much. Please little bit patience.

    :thumbs_up:,also for z11?

  • Not sure if this days or little bit later, but let us see what surprise we can expect from the devs. For sure is, Z12 will get new beta with surprise :winking_face:

    This is not an HDMI cable issue at all, because with the same configuration (settings), I have no stuttering problems on any other Iptv's application other than mytvonline3 on my Z12.

  • I too have these stuttering/stopping issues on my Z12 Ultra. I also have a Z11 Pro Max and this issue is not present using same iptv provider. Using same hdmi cables. When is update expected?

    Hi, there is already a Beta update. Better wait for Final update, because Beta is for testing and report bugs. If you cannot wait go to start menu>settings>software update>typ 1339.and red button

    Greetings, have a nice day

  • I’ve seen something similar on MyTVOnline 3 with certain 50fps sports streams, especially during source switching. It really feels like a frame pacing / stream transition handling issue rather than hardware. Since other apps and even MyTVOnline 1 are smooth, it likely points to a software-side limitation or bug in the newer player pipeline. Unfortunately I don’t know of a setting that fully fixes it but it does seem like something Formuler would need to optimize
