  • Help! I am having this issue that some other users have reported in the past. Trying out iptv service with a new provider (stalker) which does not require a USerId and password but still after connecting to the URL, MOL2 asks for Userid and password. My current service is still active and does not require a userid/password. I have tried 2 new service providers and having same issue with both.

Tried clearing cache, rebooting etc. Do not want to factory reset it as yet since I will lose my current provider settings.

Has there been a solution identified for this issue?

There is no issue on your side, just wrong insert of data!

    1. Stalker MAC/ID: you need to register your MAC/ID with server first and create later in MOL2 portal with nickname and Portal url. For this you should not activate " Login required"! Portal url starts for example like this: http//xxxxxx.xx/c, after that only click on connect and that`s all. Check Provider data they gave you.

    2. XC APi Portal: Here same, Nickname first, then portal url you became (here is url with /c at end wrong, belongs to MAC ID Portal!), Login requered must be activated and User+password data included, connect at end, that`s all. Check Provider data they gave you.

  • Sam, Thanks for responding.

I am using stalker url. My mac address was registered by a service distributor and he gave me the portal url. It ends with a .cc (does not have a /c at end).

I have not checked "Login Required" when setting up the connection. When I try connecting to this portal it first establishes the connection and then the UserId/Login page pops up, even though I have not selected "Login Required" . I also tried another service (totally different url) and that had the same issue.

Note that I already have working iptv service from another provider and that url does not have a /c at the end as well. But it is working fine.

This issue is exactly same as discussed a couple of years ago by another forum member. PLease let me know what else can I check or troubleshoot. Thanks

  • Stalker url ends in most cases with /c or even /c/ at end and could differ to xc api url. If you registered your MAC/ID by Provider, contact him to give you proper url. Ask him if he gave you xc api url instead, that would explain the pop up with need to insert login data.

  • All,

I found the cause of this issue. This issue occurred because I had given my Mac Id to my service provider. A user by the name Jitney60 on Reddit got me thinking and looking in the right direction. He had the same issue and he changed the Mac to alternate ID. When I checked the details for the one portal that was working for me, I noticed that the ID address shown in the portal details (in MyTVonline2) was NOT the MAC address but a different address which is printed on the label of the formuler box (ID: 00:1A.....) . So I gave this to my provider and voila! It worked. No pop-up asking for User Id and password. Also note that all the stalker portals I have working do not have a /c at the end and they are working fine.

Thanks to Sam and everybody for chiming in on this issue.

  • Nice you found the reason and sharing with us the solution. In past i remember 2-3 guys did the same and after giving correct ID all worked fine, you are not alone 😉

  • Similar issue here... Client had service for 6 years perfectly.. upgraded from a ukrainian made box to z10 se... all worked great..

Since the last update wouldnt take, we factory reset box... added portal... now it wont connect to server.. says its blocked.. Provider says all is ok at their end...

Downloaded another app and added url... still the same issue so it sounds like provider activation panel issue or ISp.. but tried 3 different urls for same provider and its blocked...

    Any help greatly appreciated.

Edited to advise of resolution..... The providers Activation pannel does not like the box ID but accepted the real mac addy...
