Leaving the Formuler Z7+ On 24/7

All,

Is the Z7+ built to be left on 24/7? Or should I utilize standby?

Hi,
i let the box running 24/7. Only in some cases when i went out for few days then off.

Thanks for the info! And when you say you leave it running, that doesn't mean standby, right? That means on 100%, waiting for you to turn on your TV?

I test very much , so yes in this case it`s all the time on. Other Hardware, like Main Receiver, AVR, HTPC Media Player etc. communicate trough HDMI CEC and goes off when TV turned off.

Sorry to hijack but is the z7+ CEC compatible? I’m guessing not cos I got one today and my tv does not list it as a device. I’m guessing it’s not CEC compliant or whatever but could you confirm please?

What is CEC ? Should that be enabled ?

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Consumer_Electronics_Control its great but i don't think the z7+ supports it. don't know if it would be a hardware or software thing but its useful
