Regardless of service provider anytime I try to open a TV series VOD the MT2 crashes, says stopped working and have to close it. Same provider on another makers box works fine playing same selection.

I know it's a pain but I would definitely try to format and do factory reset and try from scratch.
Hope everything goes ok after reset

I have done that inc software reset but still same.

Have you tried a different player? For example the VLC or Mx player?

It doesnt give me the option even if I change the settings in the app to external, it crashes before that happens

I'm testing it my self first week
I don't know of you can try to uninstall updates of mytv2 and see if that helps, I know some app won't let you do do it but try and how goes..
