  • Hello

We need a way to still access catch up on channels that do not have epg but have server based recording. Sometimes epg is not accurate or loading at all for some channels, and if there is no epg, we can't play recorded channel.

On some other receivers you can press arrow left and start rewinding video even if epg does not exist on that channel, so catch-up is not limited to selecting the show from EPG

Which firmware and MOL2 version are you using?

  • Latest official fw. I did not test beta

The feature you are requesting has already been implemented in MOL2 v7.2.1 beta: Cloud Timeshift.

You can try the beta now or wait for the official software release that is scheduled in the next couple days.

  • Thanks, I tried it and works fine.

I think there is still small bug - when you start cloud timeshift, you get first the picture from the previous channel where cloud shift was used. After some rewind back and forth, the picture from the current channels shows up.

If you are able, and willing, please make a short video of this issue and submit it to https://support.formuler.tv as a new ticket. It should be addressed in a future software update.

  • I will record that no problem. Another issue i discovered is that cloud timeshift videos have 1h offset. When i select catch up show from epg, the times are correct - show starts at 20.00 and catch up plays video recorded at that time.

But, if is go to 20.00 using cloud timeshift the app is playing video recorded at 19.00

Any idea why is this happening? I am in time zone gmt+1 and daylight saving is applied right now so effectivelly i time ia gmt+2

  • hello... The issue described above with oicture from wrong channel is gone, but i still experience issue with the delay in cloud timeshift.

If i select shiw starting at 3.00 from epg, i get that show coreectly played. But if i select 3.00 from the cloud timeshift, i get show from 2.00 played.

Any idea if this is bug in the app or provider issue?
