  • Hi,

New to the formuler forum so forgive me if the question has been asked before. When I record a program I end up with 3 files on the hard drive, why is the recording split like this? If I transfer just the video.ts file to my PC it plays just fine without the need for the other 2 files.

  • The m3u is used when the recording file exceeds 4GB in size and gets split into multiple parts.

The ix file is a helper file used by MOL2.

Indeed the .ts file is the only one you need if you are going to play a single recorded file on your PC.
