    Hello Community,

    Some of you have already see some changes on forum and updated forum documents, rules etc. This is just the beginning :winking_face:

    We would like to inform you about improvements and maintenance planned for the coming period on the forum. During some of these maintenance tasks the forum will be offline. Exact downtime will be announced in another announcement thread.

    What is new/different after 01.01.2020:

    1. Most important: The Forum language changed to only English language.

    This applies to front end and all new forum/threads/postings!

    New postings in other languages will be instantly deleted and the user will be notified about taking notice of the forum rules.

    One of the reasons for moving to, and enforcing strict English language, is to have clear and readable forum.

    This does not affect old created German threads in the "E2" area and postings from past: Such threads will be archived. All older threads closed.

    Therefore are this three documents very important and to respect. Please read them, otherwise no wonder if thread or posting instantly deleted.

    2. Forum upgrade.

    A forum upgrade is planned for the next days. During this upgrade the forum will be offline for one ore more short periods.

    Planned changes include:

    a. Menu reorganisation

    b. Posting options change(s)

    c. More visibility and focus on "the three documents"

    d. New areas/sections like a FAQ system. Helpers to build Formuler FAQ database are very welcome. This helps the entire community.

    e. New support icon (included into message window) is planned for easier and automatic posting of support questions (see 1c in this posting). A template will be introduced with mandatory question fields. After implementing this template, the official support will be carried out via this new template system. If a question in the template is not answered no support will be given.

    f. Dark mode. Users can choose which template to use for forum, white or dark mode.

    Important:

    Maintenance and Forum software upgrade tomorrow after 17:00 EU time (21.01.2020). Forum will be offline for few hours.

    The next two days after the first maintenance, will follow few smaller with offline time.
