I am a beginner user. How do you get all the channels to display information? Also how do you get the menu to display what shows are coming the next day and onwards? Some channels show today’s show but is blank for the next day.

Information as in epg or what do you mean exactly? You can press the epg button on the remote if that's what you mean, also info>right button on the current channel. Channels not showing shows for the next day is lacking epg data from your provider.
