The on-screen display does not go away on its own after you press the FF/REW buttons on the remote while watching a TV Recording from your USB?
Check the MOL2 settings menu and make sure your OSD timeout is not set to "Never"
Still having same issue when after pausing live tv I use FF and the OSD comes on but when select Play the OSD for the FF/RR functions stay on screen until you push Exit.
From recorded TV it disappears as expected based on the timeout set. Appears to only remain on screen if pausing live TV and then using FF/ RR functions.
Yes, I can see how that would be annoying.
I will forward this to the developers for improvement.

This was fixed in the recent Beta software update
