  • I'm a newbie and have been trying for a good week to get the MVTVOnline 2 App to properly display the EPG. The EPG is completely off and shows information for shows that are either in the future (by at least an hour) OR shows information for shows that aren't even playing at all on that channel any time in the past or future.

I have tried to follow the guide :

    1. Mytvonline 2 > Connections > Current portal - Edit

      - Scroll down to the bottom and change EPG mode to UTC or Normal

      - Scroll down to the bottom and set EPG offset if necessary
    2. Press UPDATE
    3. Check if the EPG data line-up is correct

However, these settings don't exist anywhere in the app. There is no option for any of these things mentioned in your help file other than a toggle to turn timeshift on or off. (Doing so makes no difference in the EPG being incorrect)

    Thanks!

  • If the EPG is showing completely the wrong shows for a particular channel that's an issue with the EPG source itself rather than the program. Might be worth getting in touch with your provider and seeing if they can do anything. In my experience though a lot of providers can supply good streams but the EPG is usually a bit lacking. If it's a major issue for you and you're willing to do some tinkering you could look into third party sources.

  • You’re not reading the guide properly...

Of course these settings are still here. All you need to do is to press Menu button on your Z8 remote when you are in full screen mode on any channel in MyTvOnline2 > then go to « Connections » menu on the left panel (NOT « Settings » !!) > click on your portal > « Edit » and then change the EPG Settings as mentionned until you find the correct timing

And regarding the EPG that has programs never played on the channels, it happens a lot these days due to coronavirus reschedulings. Many channels in the world haven’t updated their EPG for weeks and are playing programs that were obviously not scheduled in the EPG.
