IR1 rcu doesn't work

Hi,

Yes it is true that the GTV-IR1 remote control of the Formuler z8 Pro does not work as well as the original remote control of the Z7 or Z8.
It often happens to have to point directly at the sensor or the BOX so that it can act ...
I have tried new batteries without obtaining a better functioning.

I’ve been having the same problem, almost like as if the IR receiver isn’t strong enough...

It' could be the batteries but

Most ppl don't need to use the IR cable connected at all

if you have variables waves & signals in your area and you must use the IR cable

try this...

a. stand close to the box

b. unplug the the IR cable if plugged in

c. restart your box..(unplug the power and plug it back in Easy)

d. When the box restarts - use the remote "OK" to dismiss the 10 sec count down screen

e. Now you should be on the HOME SCREEN

f. point the remote directly at the box

g. press the down button 2x's then up button 2x's

h. now plug the IR Cable in the box

i. point the remote directly at the IR cable sensor (away from the box)

j. Press the down and up

If it did not respond when you plugged cable in...repeat F - J

(Thats it...this has work 99% of time)

actually the box was swapped out same remote suddenly works
