Backups not available for restore

  • Good morning. I had a strange problem yesterday. I deleted and recreated my portal connection and found that all my groups/channels had been deleted as well. Is this expected behavior?

    I figured I could restore a backup, but my previous backups were no longer visible in the Restore menu. The files were there, I could browse the disk with File Manager, etc. So I tried a Factory Reset figuring I could then try to restore again. The files were still not available. So I tried creating a new backup after the Factory Reset and that worked. Old backups still unavailable. So I renamed the old backup file and MD5 with the name of the new backup file and was then able to restore. Any idea what happened? Thanks for reading and any replies.
