I had this issue as well m8, It was my service provider in a mac connection, if you have that, remove the /c at the end of your line, then reboot box, if that doesn't work, then you would need a " username/password " connection then....worked for me bud...

Are you using a TV remote?
If so.. Maybe the playback limit worked.
Check it out.
mytvonline2 -> settings -> playback limit

Hi I’m new to the group so I’m not sure what I’m doing yet or where to post this like start a new thread. I have a Z8 when it’s been on standby for a while when I turn it on with the remote control I get a black screen until I turn it off then on at the wall socket and it reloads then it works perfect. I hope this is clear enough and I’ve explained what’s happening. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

if you are using a Mac Address as a connection. then ask your provider to give you a username & password with it, it sorted my issue of black screen
