    Before going to dac from dd , dts , it has to be decoded to PCM before sound comes out of the Speacker.

    If u set the sound to PCM on the Tv, Tv will decode the PCM and send it out , and then the PCM will be displayed on the receiver.

    Afr is off.

    It's not only in mol 2 but also in other streaming apps. Football is hard to see. The ball is flying through the air and it looks like slow fast slow fast ...

    The same stream ran perfectly on the Z8. and when I switch to my Vu + Solo 4k it works perfectly. So it cannot be due to the source of the stream. I'm afraid that something is wrong with the Z10.

    2.I don't think it's because of the television for me. Because with mol2 the 5.1 tone is only recognized when I leave mol2, only PCM tone is displayed even though the source has 5.1. The same movie was previously played on the Z8 in 5.1. And on the Vu + I get 5.1 for the same movie.

    I also had problems with the software update. When the box restarted, only the Z10 Pro Max logo was in the picture and nothing happened for 20 minutes. I then disconnected the box from the power and plugged it back in. again nothing happened! The third time the software update started ... I have no idea whether I should reset the box to the factory settings. maybe the box did not install the update correctly ... i dont know ..

    As it is a new product , opinions about 1,2 could be divided.

    But a factory reset i know cleary. insert some awl into the ir.rec hole and make a clicking feeling. and then connect the power plug.

    I reset the software and reinstalled everything. But unfortunately the problem is still there. I've spent hours changing and testing settings. I even tried to fix the shaky picture with settings on the TV. but it didn't really work. The best settings were 4k 25 Hz. But it was still minimally seen in films. You don't even need to watch football it looks really ugly!

    I also connected the box to the old TV in the bedroom and it was exactly the same there. Another HDMI cable did not help either. I'll send the box back tomorrow and look around for something else. I regret selling the Z8!

    You don't notice a big difference in speed because the Z8 already ran pretty smoothly. Image quality is difficult to say whether this is better. the pictures are definitely very clear and detailed, but that's always subjective. Probably you would have to have both of them running next to each other with the same TV so that you can perhaps tell a difference.
