GTV remote can't switch to Bluetooth mode

I have a Z10 Pro Max and bought a GTV RCU remote. First time it worked perfectly. I was able to switch between the 3 different modes (TV-red, plain Z10-orange and BT-white).

Now can't select the BT mode. I have followed the installation instructions (successfully pair the remote with Z10, installed the Remote App but when I try to hold the TV/STB button, it switched to red, then to orange but can't get it to white BT mode.

Any suggestions?

On the Z10:

Home > Settings > Remotes & accessories > Select the BT1 remote from the list > Unpair the device

Remotes & Accessories > put the BT1 into paring mode > pair the BT1 remote with your Z10

The solution that 175n is giving is only working for few hours before we're getting the bluetooth to disconnet and then reconnect, disconnect and so on.

Also, in Bluetooth connection, the remote get strange behaviour; if you press, the arrow up once, quiet often the list is moving up from around 20 or 25 items (as we were continously pressing up). the same is happening when pressing down or right

Replace batteries with new batteries.

Make sure you have the latest version of the Formuler Remote app installed.

I've already replaced the batteries with new one and I've already updated the remote firmware with the latest version.

Even after this, the issue is still there

Maybe to much 2.4G interference in the area

Well, bluetooth cause interference in the wifi network but not that much on the otherway around.

Best is to always setup wifi networks for channel 1, 6,7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12

I'm currently setup using channel 6 and I'm the only one in the neighborhood to use.

Even this this, I still have issues using the GTV-BT1 in bluetooth; in order to use the remote, I've switched back to IR transmission by deassociating the remote from bluetooth.

It's really a shame to be obliged to do so.

Temporarily turn off the WiFi router in your home and turn off the wiFi on your Formuler device to see if it makes a difference.
