TV Series - Incorrect episode Names, Descriptions & Images

I have a Formuler Z8.

Recently (last few months I think) When selecting a TV Series that has multiple seasons, it is displaying the season 1 titles, descriptions and images on all other seasons.

So when I go to season 2,3,4 etc etc, it still shows the episode names, description and pictures for season 1, which is really annoying!

It never used to be like this, any ideas? My provider does not think the issue is at their end.
I know of at least 1 other person experiencing the same issue.

Can anyone help with this as it's really difficult to know what season/episode I am on?

Provider issue, the stream and data comes from provider.

I'm still having this issue on my Z8.

Someone else also had the problem on a Z10 but it was fixed with the latest update.

I hope there is an upcoming Z8 update that will give the same result.

What are you using?

1. Stalker (MAC/ID) Portal (Registered ID on provider side and URL)?

2. XC APi (Xtreme Codes) Portal (Using URL + login, user and password)?

3. M3U Playlist (Long URL with link, user, password and stream type)?

I am using MAC ID.

I have tested with another app and it shows the correct info.

Tested now with 2 subs MAC and XC Api Portal.

Sorry but you are definitive not using MAC/ID because on Stalker and MOL2 are such data like on your pictures not shown. Stalker doesn`t pull TMDB data.

See picture:

It is XC APi with login or m3u plus playlist. How ever, with both shows MOL2 all data correct, tested.

Go to settings -> Apps -> MOL2 -> clear data and cache, reboot once and test again. Could be that something is wrong with your MOL2 cache. Next step would be to reinstall MOL2.

I have given my provider the MAC ID of the box and loaded the portal on MOL2, so I assumed that means I'm using MAC ID, sorry if I was wrong.

I have already done a full factory reset and reinstalled MOL2 etc, this didn't help.

Like I said on another app if shows the correct info.

I have the exact same problem as the this thread. I thought it would be best to add this thread?

We are a provider and are encountering this same issue. Im new to formuler boxes.

We are using stalker 5.3.0 (we would prefer to use stalker as we sync multiple vod databases). Were authenticating by mac ID only. TV Series work perfectly in the VOD section. The TV Series didn't initially show on the main menu until we copied vod.class.php to series.class.php. A bit of a modification to that file was needed too.

All is perfect on MOL1 and MOL3, both play series fine and data is shown correctly. But MOL2 has a slight issue, it plays the series find, but the same data for season 1 shows on season 2 and 3 etc (the text and thumbnails are the same for all seasons). VOD is fine for all MOL versions its just the TV Series on the main menu with MOL2.

Could I ask what would be different about MOL2? Does it request data slightly differently? We can modify stalker more, but were struggling to see what the app wants / needs.

I appreciate the TV series on main menu is a XC feature, but we have many users migrating who already have this feature and want to try and get this last part working

Resetting the forumler box, clearing cache etc made no difference.

Any advice or pointers would be great

please create ticket on https://support.formuler.tv/home/, right side Orange button, let robot create ticket and deliver all needed data to the staff`s when they answer.

Please include your entire posting like it is and video from the issue, please upload video to streamable.com. Will be best way so the devs. can check the issue directly.

Same problem here on 300 Z10 boxes and have been waiting for a fix since before Christmas. Still no joy and i cannot download the beta update so i guess im looking for a new iptv box provider. Maybe ***** doesnt have this problem?
