Yes I went through the above steps already and checked all the settings etc but still no luck. My guess is Audio codecs / audio format used by Formuler is not compatible or not supported by Onkyo receiver or my receiver is unable to process. I am not sure which audio codes / audio format is used by the Formuler.If someone has any details on it, then will appreciate it.
Surround Sound (passthrough) should be activated for dd and higher on box. Youtube videos are 99.9% Stereo! VOD you must check first which Audiotrack is in use.

My receiver is set to pass-through and formuler is also set to pass- though, screen shot attached. and audio track is AAC, stereo.
Your second picture shows only stereo audio track in vod, find some other with 5.1 or 7.1 and test again.

I did more digging , I got Netflix app from the Formuler marketplace and got connected to Netflix. Now, when I am watching Netflix using an app from the marketplace, then how do I check in which audio track it is streaming?
There are only three options 1 ,2 and 3 and none of them show audio track (i.e. whether it is streaming in 2.0 or 5.1)
