  • I have been having this issue for awhile, anytime I try to record I receive the "Warning Recording Error" message. I reformatted the USB drive I am using, I factory reset the box and tried again, it worked for the few minutes I did a test recording. I then downloaded the audio optimizer and rebooted and I am not getting the error again, I am not sure what to do anymore

  • There may be a issue with the USB. Flash drives are not generally meant to be written/rewritten thousands of times. If you use timeshift, every time you change channels the timeshift file gets deleted and restarted. That could be dozens or hundreds of times a day. Personally, I use an old laptop spinny drive in a cheap enclosure. Much more durable.

I honestly haven't used it that much. I got a new flash drive so going to give that a try
