    Hi folks!

    I just installed a led strip and use Ambient light Application for Android to control it. It works fine with YouTube app and within MTVO2 un the menus but not when playing a movie or a TV program. Does someone has resolved this issue? :thinking_face: Thx!

    Ps: it works fine with IPTV Smarters so I use this one to watch movies 😅

    MOL2 on Z8 doesn't use the standard system video player so the ambient light app cannot read the color values.

    The workaround is to use an external VOD player app like VLC or MX player inside MOL2.

    MOL2 > Main Menu > Settings > Player Options > External VOD player

    This however will only solve the issue when you are playing VOD and not Live TV.

    The other workaround is to purchase a Z10-series device or GTV as these two devices use the standard video player.

    I tried with VLC and MX but the video doesn’t show up in these apps (I only get the sound). Is there a setting to turn on/off?

    Edit: I got the video with MX but Led are not working

    Edit 2: got it to work with Nova Player. The only one doing it great and free 🎉🎉

    Yesterday the app (Ambient Light) crashed several Times while watching a movie with IPtv Smarters. I’ll try with Nova today to see if I got the same issue.
