  • Hi all. New guy here. So my house has 5 Z10 Pro Max devices. All are updated to the latest firmware. I have them all connected to a network drive that I use for recording programs. It's been working great until last night. MOL2 (updated to the latest version) kept crashing within 5 seconds of opening it. First the remote would become unresponsive and then it would just crash. All other streaming apps work fine and my internet connection is great. This particular box is hard wired but even the other devices that are on wifi were doing the same thing, except one device for some reason.

On a whim this morning I disconnected the network drive and MOL2 was immediately responsive. When I mounted the drive I had the same problem as before. I've uninstalled/installed MOL2, cleared the cache and data and even did a factory reset to the Formuler. Still no difference unless the network drive is unmounted.

Obviously that is the culprit somehow but does anyone happen to know WHY it would be doing that? If I access the network drive from VLC to watch a movie it works fine and there's no issues otherwise on the Formuler box itself. Any help would be GREATLY appreciated. Thanks.

  • And this started to happen after last 10.10.41 update?

Can you please go to Network & Internet ( on this hard wired issue Box) -> IP -> and hit once again on DHCP..

Alternative you can test and give this box static ip and see if it helps, of course with reboot at end. Router or if network switch in use, please reboot too.

It seems like it happened after the last update but not immediately.

I’ll try those options tomorrow and report back. Thanks!

  • Maybe there was a temporary DNS server dysfunction in your area?

It was local network in the house, have nothing to do with DNS Server and inet network.

Woke up this morning and now everything works fine. This is so odd.

    Great it works again.
