  • Right, noob here. I don't know much as I am new to the device and my questions may be repetitive for some, apologies in advance.

    1) I've been noticing some lag between picture and sound on certain stations and while watching certain high res shows/movies. I'm unsure if the issue is because I have not hardwired my device with ethernet (yet) or if i have incorrect settings on the new TV we purchased (Sony Bravia A80J). More curiously, I am wondering if the issue revolves around Hardware decoding vs software decoding and how one goes about checking to see which is in use and how one might change it between the two if need be.

    2) MyTvOnline2 does not have an LGBT section as a genre and I'm wondering if there is a secondary option that does? I also cannot find certain older movies that I know are online and am wondering, again if it is worth having access to more than one database?

    3) Is there a way to view on a laptop, movies and Tv shows that can be accessed through the Formuler/MyTv2? The new Tv has an airplay function though I'm fairly certain that only works one-way from the laptop to tv and not in the reverse direction.

    4) Do any Canadians find CBC News to have a lot of audio issues through IPTV or is it my personal settings getting in the way?

Thanks for any tips/advice in advance. Please be very simple if explaining technical answers... I'm super thick when it comes to tech.

P.S. No idea if I've followed the rules properly, let me know if I must correct anything.

    Hello,

    1. Asynchron sound is always Provider issue, there is not much you can do. Except maybe to set your Video Buffer in Mol2 Settings->Player options to 10 and try again.

You can also play with AFR to see if this change something. Otherwise test some other Provider.

2.Sorry, hearing first time about such section. Vod shows you what can be delivered from provider, all data are loaded through connect.

    3. On laptop no like i know. Maybe can someone else report if he found some solution.

    4. I Leave this answer to Canadian users.

    ps.

You followed the rules in full, top

Please do not hijack in future threads from other user, read forum rules, thank you!

Picture quality depends always from user and his eyes, so each user will see different. The standard calibrated picture is for most people good enough.

What you can change is Home menu->Settings->Display-> Screen resolution (Display Mode and Color Space settings) changing of CSS could improve your picture, depends if deep colour also activated on your tv and both communicate good with each other. Image settings colour (use very small steps) and last the HDR Mode Off or Adaptive. Make small changes and check the result.
