Hi is there a refresh button on the standard remote if not, how do I refresh without going into menu etc etc please? On the notification it says press the refresh button I’m new to the z11 pro coming from a z8. Thanks in advance

It is at the top of the Main Menu with the red icon.
Press the Menu button and press the Refresh Contents button. Only 2 button presses

The content lists will refresh automatically once per day.
Check if you have the Auto Update settings turned on in the Menu > Content Manager > Data Sync > Auto Update Settings menu

in my opinion is the way in mytv3 too long...if someone ( me ) refreshes every hour. mytv2 : menu - refresh ( perfect ! )

When I press menu there is no option to refresh. It must be because auto-refresh is on, but thanks for your input it’s really helped 👍🏻
i just compare to mytv2 at the end of my post...in mytvonline2 you just have to press "menu" and the option "update data" is right there. best way in my opinion.

My supplier adds some things as they go live and asks to refresh to show changes. This can be around 7:50pm the auto refresh is for 5am so I think I would still need to refresh, or would I? As I say refresh content was there at the top of the menu list 2 times last night but now it’s gone. It’s no big deal it’s just a little annoying.

"Refresh Content" shows up in main menu root after the scheduled auto refresh. It is akin to an "Apply Changes" button.
If you need to perform a manual refresh, the only way to do it is by going to the Content Manager > Content Sources menu.

Sory but it does not make sense at all...
If you know that, theres new content added and you want to refresh, first you have to go to content manager, refresh there, and then for MOL 3 to refresh it wil appear on the menu to refresh again, or else nothing was refreshed...

Let me try to explain so it is understandable.
MOL3 allows users to go back to watching contents and using the app while the refresh is happening in the background. When the changes are ready, the app notifies the user to apply the changes. This way the user can choose when to apply the new changes so the user's viewing experience is not interrupted.
The alternative would be to freeze the menus and make the user wait for the refresh to finish before they can do anything else.

Hello 175n, thats very good thinking and saying, but if i want to update it before the time that she does it itself, i need to go to many places for me to do it. Why isnt the refresh data on the menu like before and we could make the refresh whenever we want, and when you go there by yourself, and click it, the box could do everything in the background and only notify when its done, and not notify, when its ready to aply?
