not able to play sound on external bluetooth headset

Attached a recording of the sound i get in my sony wx3000 bluetooth headset using a Z11 pro max and Z10 pro max.

Does anyone else having the same experience, maybe test with another device?

Which app are you using to perform the sound output tests?

Did you check with Youtube?

thx for your prompt reply. i tried both youtube and mytvonline (2 and 3), get exactly the same. i tried with a openrun pro headset and it works very well.

why would a sony wx3000 not work? looks like a codec incompatibility, any idea what i can try to fix it?

Turn off "Surround sound" in the Android Sound settings to see if that makes a difference.
