Connecting the Z11 Pro Max to a Samsung S61B soundbar

    Hi all,

    I've recently purchased a Samsung S61B soundbar, and after easily connecting it over WiFi to my Samsung Frame TV (via SmartThings), I've experienced issues in getting the audio from my Z11 Pro Max to play through the Soundbar. My Z11 is connected via HDMI to the TV, but no sound was playing through the soundbar at all?

    Before anyone suggests connecting via the sequence of Z11 > HDMI > Soundbar > HDMI > TV, the soundbar only has one HDMI port (not an input / output) so that isn't an option.

    The only way I've managed to get it to work is by connecting the soundbar to my Z11 by Bluetooth (which I guess isn't ideal), but I'm confused as to why the Z11 > HDMI > TV doesn't work on it's own as my Sky Box is connected in exactly the same way and I don't have any issues with the sound playing through the soundbar.

    Any suggestions?

    Update.... I don't seem to be able to get the audio out of the soundbar full stop from the Z11. The TV was auto switching to TV speaker.
