Recording queries

Hi I have recently upgraded from a Formuler Z8 Pro to Z11 Pro MAX. One thing I notcied is that the Z8 i could easily find the recordings on the usb drive. However after searching google / forum they are located in a different place. I have seen that due to security on Android 11, it says Access denied. Is there a way to fix this? So i can have access to my own recordings?

Also are the recordings encrypted - on my Z8 they were in .TS which made it easy to share across other devices in my network.

Hi,

On Z8 and Android OS 7 is Samba working and access over Network is possible. Since newer Android OS this changed/restricted and you can not access from PC over Network the recording folder, but you can disconnect USB device and use it on PC.

Recording folder is in X:\Android\data\tv.formuler.mol3.real\Recordings\

They are decrypted and ready for use.

For full share in Network is always NAS the best solution, recording and timeshift on NAS.

Ah thanks for the tip. Would be better to be able to use CX File Explorer to share it over my network. Will they fix the permissions for it, in a later version, do you think?

There is nothing to fix, since Android OS 9 are restrictions present and with newer version it was even more, do not understand why Google need this, but it is like it is.

Ah I see, after a quick google I saw some articles where it could be changed in the code.

Also, on the z8 you could fast forward through recordings up to x16 speed. Is that possible on the z11?
