Search takes ages

    Hi all,

    Does anyone have any way to speed up the search function? When I search for programmes it takes a good 30seconds of spinning wheel before everything shows up. I think it’s searching every channel from my provider although I have 90% of channels hidden and only a few channel groups selected. Is there any way to speed it up, maybe just have it search only the selected channel groups?

    Hi,i think 30 seconds for a search is relatively quick,for VOD & TV series its even quicker

    What i did notice is that in search the channels i marked as Favorite show up fast,whereas non-favorites take more time.

    To be honest,i lack a basic understanding of how the Universal Search function actually works,if i e.g type in sports search only gives me the results of present time and date.

    On the other hand if i do a search for tv-program,that is streamed on a specific time ,every day of the week,i only get a result for one day(maybe because of limited epg on XC),if the search would have been done on single view EPG,i would expect many more results.

    It would be great if anyone could explain how the search process actually works!
