    Hello,

    I have a Formuler Z Mini connected to my Samsung Q60B (QE43Q60BAUXXU). I am thinking of purchasing an HDMI 2.1 Extension Cable or HDMI Coupler, a 2.1 Female to Female Adapter HDMI Extender. My idea is to connect between the TV and box. Saving wear and tear from the box connection.

    Before I by it, I wanted to ask if anyone else used an extension cable or HDMI Coupler, any picture/sound loss or picture/sound quality gets decline?

    How long should the cable be and any brand names I should get?

    While I am here I wanted to ask if Z Mini should on standby mode 24/7 or switch it on from mains whenever in use?

    It`s up to you and what you like, 24/7 standby fully ok.

    HDMI is a digital signal. Therefore it either works or it doesn't. Unlike analog signals there is not gradual picture quality degredation.

    If your objective is to save wear and tear on the Z mini's HDMI cable, just buy the shortest HDMI extension cable you can find.

    I use an HDMI 2.1 extender with my Formuler Z mini.

    Twozoh 8K HDMI 2.1 male to female braided nylon (I bought the 1.5m. version available amazon wide)

    The main reason is to get my z mini off the floor where my Samsung 4 HDMI input hub sits.

    Works without issue for me.
