What is the best storage device to use for recording?

Hello, I’m new and have just got a z11 pro max. I would like to have record functionality so keen to know which is the best storage device to connect with for smooth recording experience? Thanks

The best would be NAS,but this is a very expensive option.

I can recommend a 1or 2 TB ssd or hdd,from my own experience,it works well and lots of recording storage for regular use.
