Brand NEW z-mini - cannot get to display on tv

I am trying to setup a brand NEW z-mini - - I have it plugged in the HDM, power is good - I see a brief screen that says Z-MINI - then nothing - just black screen.

I ahve tried different HDMI ports, and even another tv - cannot get this thing to display - any thoughts?

Is Z mini connected with original Formuler power adapter and is something connected with the box, like USB Hub?

Directly connected using ONLY original stuff from the box - - I was given more details - apparently yesterday when it was fist hooked up it displayed on the screen as per normal, they got to the part where you pair the remote, they tried multiple times and could not pair.....

they unplugged everything, then tried again a couple hours later, now they get the First screen that shows Z-MINI - then just Black screen after that. Is it possible the resolution on the mini was changed somehow?

Good possible if someone worked on it. Do you maybe have other Tv to connect and change resolution and HDMI DHCP 1.4<>2.2? I think HDMI DHCP is the reason.

Are you saying change this setting on the tv itself?

we did try two different tv's

No, changing on the Box. If you tested it on other two tv`s then you have to do factory reset as last option.

RE: How to factory reset Z mini

Hi,

1. Software reset:

Home menu -> Settings -> Device Preferences -> Factory reset.

2. Hardware reset:

On z mini you have one small button.

Disconnect power from Z mini
Connect power to z mini and press instantly the small button and hold, until this Message appear.
One single press on button moves down through menu. Longer press opens the menu.
After successful reset chose "Reboot system now"
