Since I started to use this box, I have been unable to increase or decrease the volume via the BT remote.
On screen it says "audio pass through active. Use TV remote to change volume".
I can change volume via my LG TV remote, but this is a pain. 
Does anyone know why this is, and how I can fix it?

I have the remote app, but it doesnt give me any sound options.
Where do I find Advanced Sound Settings? I am a novice with this box!
Settings>device preferences>display&sound>sound >advanced sound settings.
In Homemenu,so not mol3 menu!
In the formuler remote app, i would setup your tv brand.
Than you can use it correctly
