If I remember well, I took the one from the Google Play Store, as it was a later version.

I took the one from Market,i choose NORD vpn,and it gets continuously updated by them to latest SW,so it makes little difference whether you use Playstore or Market in their case.

If you have a formuler z11, then always download apps from playstore.
The reason is that the z11 has the AndroidTV playstore and works on your box, created for tv screen and always latest version.

Remember you need a very fast router.
Tried is years ago on netgear nighthawk R7000 and it was slow as sh*t.
Total useless. Newer router are faster i hope.

I use Asus routers. Current is GT-AX6000 with RT-AX86U as a mesh node. I get 900Mb down and 500Mb up off of a 1Gb connection running Surfshark or IPVanish Wireguard through the AX6000 and Z11PM off AX86 Ethernet.
