A friend is running a z alpha box using wifi. her box froze so she had to reboot by unplugging the the power and started up fine but she couldn't connect to the wifi. so went to network settings and wifi was switched to off. but when she clicked on it to turn it on, it just automatically turns right back off.
anyone know what could cause this?
i.m running the latest beta and i have multiple providers. when i use mytv3 online history and favorites from the home screen. it only shows the favorites from my first provider with no way to change the displayed to my other providers
the alternative epg worked. which makes no sense as other box is on default and epg works great and its the exact same setup for same providers

i am running these on mac id. and this issue is happening with any provider i use but the same provider works fine on my other box which is same model
I have 2 boxes both z11 pro max both of which are on the same portals. but on one of them if i click the guide button it just shows the current show and all previous info just comes up no information. but on other box the guide works fine showing all previous shows so can go back and watch shows i missed.
and i have 2 portals on each box and have the same issues for either portal
but if i click "ok" to bring up the other form of guide and press to right all the previous shows are there.
i have tried normal and alternate epg and have done a factory reset. but still doesn't work
any one have any ideas?
yeah there was no info on any channel but the update that came out yesterday on june 1st seems to have fixed it
did the clear and update but didn't help, i'll find out what router they are using but it worked fine with Z alpha model as the z11 was a upgrade from their old one
i have 2 boxes both z11 pro max, both on latest firmware which came out today but on one of them i can't get any epg guide on it.
they are both running the same providers. the only difference is one is at my place on fiber op and the other is at my parents on starlink satellite internet.
on my box have no issues with the epg on either provider. But on my parents not getting any epg data at all on either provider.
tried both normal and alternate epg as both are on stalker for the connection
even had them delete the providers and add them again but no luck
on both the channels are working great but just no epg on one
anyone have an idea how to fix this?
add the portals after updated to beta
and as i said can search the vod as search option is on upper right of screen but only when when you first enter a category. soon as you move down a row that goes off screen and can't search unless go all the way back up

oh i know. but just a pain as wife was going through vod tv series to see what was on there and decided to look for specific show, so have to back out as universal search doesn't work once you scroll down past first row in any category
i just got a z11pro max and search is fine while on live tv but when wife is going through vod and want to search is there a way to do this or do you have to back out to live tv to do it? as green button does nothing when in vod
thought of that so went to set up vpn on it didn't even connect internet for the set up but still came up same notice and shut down
i purchased a formuler z11 pro max but didn't realize the company was in germany as it asked me to confirm i live in canada.
my box arrived and when turned it on comes up this product not for sale outside eu.uk. then shuts the box down.
is there a way around this?
tried to connect as hotspot but no luck.
checked the encryption and everything looks good and have a z10pro that is mine that connects no issues
my network is bell aliant fibre op with 1.5 gb download on a home hub 300
lan was disconnected and tried wps but that didn't work either

Purchased a z alpha a couple of months ago and set up a friend everything was working fine but now the wifi has stopped working. i bought it over to my place and once in a while it will show some networks in my location but most times doesn't even detect anything even though i am 8 feet from router. and one time it did detect mine connected and 2 minutes later comes up not in range
anyone have any ideas what could cause this?

can the original z8 remote be programmed to control tv volume?
I know how to program it for source and tv power .
but if i try to press any other button but tv or source it just exits programming mode.

A friend has a formuler z8 original model not pro and started acting weird, would just completly lock up and mytvonline icon would vanish and reappear. and would randomly reboot .
so bought it over to me
i booted it up and android came up on screen showing error but then booted up to desktop.
so i did a factory reset and took about 10 minutes till it finally came up with all the questions finally got to desktop but then randomly rebooted again and now just stuck on the ring that comes up on screen when booting
tried doing reset again by unplugging and plugging back in while pressing red button repeatedly then pressing 1 when when flashing red green
but light just flashes green with circle on screen
no idea what firmware he was on but he did say he did a update the other day to see if that would fix it but no luck
I know how to record live tv but is there anyway to record from vod?

my cousin lives in the uk and got two alphas both came with same remote i have
yes i have that one on my z8 but for the last year that remote hasn't shipped with any of the alphas
this is the remote that came with the alpha and it is brand new out of the box and i know others who have purchased alphas and this is the same remotes that thier boxes shipped with
I just got a formuler Alpha. and whenever i click on the down arrow under the ok button when watching tv it cranks the volume on my LG soundbar. does anyone know of a way to fix this?

i saw there was a update to day to hotfix fw 1.4.67-sw7.8.7 and updated my z8
now i am getting a black screen on every live tv channel
the vod seems to be working fine.
but on my alpha which i hadn't updated the live tv is fine
anyone have any ideas?
did the update on z8 and now get a black screen on every channel, my brother has have a alpha and didn't do the update and channels are working fine. any one else having issue with hotfix?

just got the Alpha and already had a z8 and agree the remote is terrible compared to z8's. luckily the z8 works on both. and many saying its same remote maybe its where you get them but the one i got is defintitly not same as much smaller and weaker
had same issue with plex when playing shows had to go into settings and there is a option to use a new player. had to turn it off. but also found that the setting would turn back on sometimes when restarted.
but turning this off allowed video to play before that was all green like you said
that 3d format is the same i have. but you need to have a tv or device that has a 3d mode . as it takes the 2 sides and overlaps them to create the 3d picture. on reguler tv it shows them as you see it with the tv showing 2 copies of same pic on left and right
