My Formuler Z8 has recently started having an intermittent loss of audio and screen going dark for approximately 1 second then returning to normal. This is happening usually every 15 to 20 minutes both when streaming and watching programmes via USB memory stick. I have eliminated the TV and the HDMI cable as the problem so must be the box, any ideas on how to resolve?

Do you use AFR and is it active?
MOL2 Menu -> Settings -> Player Options -> AFR

where do I find the MOL2 menu? Although I don't think it is anything to do with MOL2 as it also happens when I play media from USB port of Z8
Mol2 menu,button right next to the Home button,with triple horizontal bars,on your remote.

ok found it and AFR is set to off, should this be on or off?
It should be off to prevent short black screen while switching tv channels.

Ok tried setting AFR to both on and off and still have same problem in either situation, I am begining to think it maybe my Z8 hardware thats the problem. I would upgrade to Z11 Pro but not available in Thailand.
If not available in Thailand,maybe you can order directly from South Korea?
