z11 pro, turning box on from standby doesn't auto switch to its hdmi input

when box has been in standby overnight it won't auto switch to its hdmi input when first turning it on the next day, i have to go back into standby and turn it on again for it to auto switch to its input from watching terrestrial tv, after this it will auto switch normally until the next day

ive just upgraded from z8 pro and that auto switched everytime no matter how long in standby,

is this normal?

Is Hdmi CEC set correctly and power off instead of standby tested? Please check.

everything is tumed off in hdmi CEC settings on the box....

do you meaan i should set the box to turn off instead of using standby ?

i'm not sure i understand correctly.

Set the Power Method to power off and not standby, hdmi cec setting to turn the box on with TV. Switch to right active HDMI port manages your TV, so it would be also good to power off and on once the Tv too (power cut). Use original HDMI Cable from Box.

does the z11 pro not work the same as z8 pro regarding standby?

....anyway, i set the box to turn off rather than standby and can't turn it back on now with remote

Yes, it should. We are just testing to see where the issue is.

Hm, led colour from remote when you press some button? Red, Orange?

orange now....then changes to white

Orange is first power press and white when the box is on and work.

hmm, i got box back on randomly and remote light turned white, turned box off and back to orange remote light and unresponsive box again,

not sure whats happening

i'm not using the formuler hdmi cable as its too short, but using the same one i used on the z8 pro

I would just test any HDMI Port you have on your TV,and see if you get a result

thank you,

it seems strange the box wouldn't turn back on yesterday when i changed it to power off mode instad of standby, it eventually turned on but it happened again when i turned it back off,

today it seemed to work normaly from powered off mode

i'm wondering if theres a potential fault with the box,

anyway, i will try another hdmi port on tv, leave in standby over night and see if the problem is still there when turning back on tomorrow.

my tv has total 4 hdmi inputs, i've tried the z11 pro in the other 3 and it won't auto switch at all in those,

i tried my blu ray player in all of them and that auto switches in all 4,

does that suggest something not right?

sporadically with one of the two z11 pro max boxes the same problem both during standby and power off the TV does not turn on zmini no problem

Hey all. Any fix fo this stnby not working after a few hrs of being off. I have to unplug the box and then works fine. It works if turned back on within a few hrs. But what a PIA every morning or many hours away I have to unplug the box. The TV says hdmi no signal. The box goes from red to white just not waking up the hdmi side. Ive tried all things above. No luck. I have z11 pro max.

Please allow a remark. If you let the box to be turned on/off when you turn on/off TV, you’ll run into trouble when you record shows/movies etc. and accidentally turn off TV as it will shut off the box as well and stop the recording. Learned it the hard way…

I changed to shut off. Now the box boots up and mtvol3 starts up. It was fine for a few days but ive noticed 3 times now About 5 mins in after a channel is working the screen goes black and then the hdmi no signal shows up. Im literally watching a show and this happens. As if i unplugged the hdmi cable. I have tried everything in all these forums. It very frustrating the bugs these boxes have.
