If I use the Formuler Remote App and set my TV Brand (an LG G2), it configures the remote in TV mode. And it works fine.
But what I would like is to configure the volume buttons, next to the D-Pad, to control the TV's volume, when the remote is in STB mode.
Did I miss something?
Once paired is the Box + RCU in BT Mode, the TV control buttons for source and volume on side are in IR mode, so you can control without any changes both devices at same time. With old BT1 you need always to switch from BT Box to IR TV and back, therefore are this two buttons on side to prevent switch and offers synchronous use.
Hi, I'm a new owner of a Z12 Ultra (my first Formuler device) and I'm very disappointed about the situation regarding TV volume control. As already stated, using the side-buttons is not ideal, especially in my scenario of elderly parents.
Please allow the main volume controls (next to D-Pad) to be assigned for TV volume control. Just like the user above, I want to max out formuler's volume and never touch it again.

I set up my new Formuler Z12 Ultra today and quickly realized that I already missed this feature.
I agree that the volume buttons on the right side are not well placed and very intuitive.
With the old BT1 remote, I thought it was great that you could set the volume on the box once and then use the volume buttons next to the PAD to adjust the volume on your TV or soundbar without touching the volume on the box.
I think it would be a really good idea if, in the next update, you gave users the option of using the volume buttons as on the BT1 for those of us who don't want to use the buttons on the side of the remote control.
Let's keep our fingers crossed that a future update will give us this option, because this BT3 remote control would be perfect with it.
Can we have an update on this issue?
My formuler was updated this week but I can't find anything new regarding the remote.
You mean "Formuler remote" app in apps section is gone?
If yes, make backup of mytvonline3 on usb. And do factory reset my friend.

I just received the Formuler Z12 Ultra and I'm currently setting it's remote up.
What I'd really like is a kind of hybrid mode on the remote:When the remote is in STB mode, I want to configure:
- STB power: turn on/off the TV AND the Formuler
- Volume next to the D-Pad: control the TV's volume. I don't want to control the Formuler's volume, or at best, control it with the side buttons.
- Hi just got the z12 ultra myself. Where you ever able to get this working. Just like you i just want to leave the z12 volume all the way up and never touch it agin. I want the volume buttons on the face of the bt3 remote to control my tv volume while leaving the remote set for the z12 box and not my samsung tv. The shield tv and remote work this way and i really miss it.
