If I make a backup of the Z11, can I upload it to the Z12 so that all my favorite channels are there or do you really have to install everything because Mytv 3 is the same anyway?

You can only make a backup and do a restore on the samebox!

I tried restoring a z11 backup to a z12 ultra.
Z12 wouldn't take it,came up with an error message.
