I had same issue on my Z8Pro since past 1 week. I installed TizenTube per suggestion and it works fine now. Haven't played around much yet, hope the content is same and only the front end UI is different. Thanks for your suggestion.

So far i found is that play protect is not certified. This could cause the issue i think?
Already tried deleting data + chache of play store + youtube but no result.
Also I see on the app screen that Google Play store is there 2 times? I can’t delete any of them 2 they keep on the screenI hope following info could maybe help:
Formuler Z11 Pro- New device out of box (30-05-2026 unboxed + installed issue already is there)
- Latest firmware
- YouTube 5.30.xx
- Google Play Services 21.24.18
- Play Protect: Not certified
- Error: “YouTube is nog supported on this device”

The two playstores: i saw it once on the forum. A factory reset did the trick to resolve it. But is that so important? That's on yours.

Why use an app for youtube? Sideload brave browser. Brave version im using is 1.86.140. I use the Norway server on my vpn and no comercials. It only supports 1440 vids which is still great. I bookmark all the youtube stuff I watch. Plus it's a great browser for internet use. Don't forget to use a pointer for it.

My formuler is connected to a 1080 tv so it may not give me youtube in 4k. Can't edit my post for some reason.

If you have a hd/full hd tv with 1080p then you can't watch youtube in 4k quality ofcourse. Only max hd.

It’s what i noticed. Received 2 boxes the same day and both have the youtube issue not sure if the other box has also google play store 2 times
But I didn’t see this issue ever before in the 3-4 years that i have ordered and installed boxes for clients. Will receive 1 more in 2 days will check if issue is there also.
The last 3 boxes i ordered are from a different seller then i usually get them from, will check again with old seller if the issue is also from his batch. -

I use it myself, but several people have asked me about it because they own a Z11 Pro and want to use only YouTube (no alternative apps).
That’s why I’m bringing this up again several months later the problem has been going on for quite some time.

I thought google has bring by updates youtube down. Due only let it work on certified boxes.
The only certified box is the Formuler GTV due AndroidTV software.
Im on holiday, so i can't test youtube on my Z12. I would love to test if it's working on my Z12 cause the Z12 isn't also certified by Google.
Just have a look if problem also exist on the Z12.
But i didn't see a topic yet, that youtube don't work on Z12 i thought. So I think it works in Z12.
So im curious what it exactly is.
And i don't use youtube, so need to install it cause unused apps I delete by adb.

Don't bother testing this on the Z12.
I also have a Z12 Ultra and use YouTube regularly without any issues; this seems to happen only on the Z11.Have a great day ☺️

Much much better interface, 99% a 100% looks like youtube. (And no adds...)

check for sure if automatic updates is ON in Settings. So it's check every time for new version.
