Hi all, I lost the origional remote for my Formuler Z7+.
When the box is plugged in the power light is red, on standby.
I then purchased a new remote (02F9 remote) hoping it would just turn on the box.
That wasnt the case, so, how do I to pair the new formuler remote with the formuler z7+ which is in standby mode?
Is there a way to do this or is it time to get a new box

such remote (IR) can not be paired, because it`s not BT remote, just IR.
Not sure if possible with Z7, but newer (02F9) use other Commands than the older one. If i remember right, only with Z8 Series compatible but not for Z7 Series. The commands changed with 02F9 because the old commands interfered with other Remotes in household.
Please take power off from the Box and connect again (the box should reboot), when you see the home menu use the new remote to see if the navigation works.
The Optional IR if connected , please disconnect. If the Remote works with Z7 then it should work directly without any issues.

The remote for the z7 or z7 5g is the one in the picture.
If you pull out the power adapter and put in in again it should start automatically i thought. Just like the gtv, z10, z11, z12 etc.
And with the remote on my picture you should get the box on.
And if the one you have now don't work, try other. But i thought it are the same ir codes.

Lucky, he use/buy the small remote. There is one without (02F9) and this works directly with Z7, the other one that he buy is with (02F9) and this have other commands. Im not sure if this one was supported with Z7 firmware, on Z8 Series yes. Don`t have here the (02F9) to test.
