    Now comes an odd question. I have the GTV-BT3 remote control and my color keys are not the same standard as Samsung. Then I thought if I could use hotkey and make them match Samsung. Alternatively change the color keys I have on my BT3.

    I have tried adding my Samsung remote under BT settings. It finds it but at the end it says "could not connect".

    I have an app on my Formuler Z12 where I want to use the color keys and it does not work. The same app directly in my Samsung works with Samsung's color keys.

    Do you have any tips on what to do?

    Reset first remote for sure if not connected to box.

    Hold 0 (ZERO) and OK button in for 3 seconds. Remote starts blinking 3 times or so.


    Go to bluetooth in android settings and click add bluetooth device.

    Hold OK and hamburger button (button with 3 stripes/menu button) in for 3 seconds.

    It should connect now.


    If connected go to Formuler remote app and setup first your tv to samsung.


    Don't know for sure if you can use color buttons.

    But if you want to change from bluetooth to infrared, you need to hold the left upper button (tv/stb) for 2 seconds.

    The led blinks and now you can use ir remote. (But not all buttons) Ok buttons works then as example.

    Some buttons.

    Hold tv/stb button in for 2 sec to switchs to bluetooth again. Links blinking 2 times or so.

    Thanks for the great tips. Now I've tried everything but it doesn't help with the color buttons. I can do without it, but what was new for me was switching to IR. Then I could use the remote for certain functions on my Samsung TV.

    The color buttons can you setup with the options in the formuler app.

    Start vod, series, mouse button, or start an app etcetera

    I saw that you could change the color buttons. But I would like to make them send the same protocol as the color buttons on my Samsung TV. I give up on that.

    I thought instead to pair my Samsung (2025) remote under Bluetooth settings.
    It finds the remote and connects but at the end it says it could not complete.

    Then I took other BT devices such as keyboard and mouse. The same thing finds them but could not complete.

    Sorry I was probably a bit unclear. I can't find how to put my GTV-BT3 into Learning mode. I've tried both BT and IR.

    Unpair BT first and your BT3 act in IR Mode, then try to get the RCU in learning mode.

    OK Sam, it's already done. When I have the remote in IR mode, which button should I then press to put the remote in learning mode?

    What does it say in the GTV-BT1 remote manual?

    Try along these lines.

    I hold the TV/STB button down until the remote flashes red 3 times to put it in IR mode. Then it works with my Samsung TV, but not all functions. What it doesn't work with, I want to transfer from my Samsung remote according to the info on the GTV-BT3 page.

    I thought that was only with older remotes. The new ones goed with formuler remote app only.

    No learning mode.

    Correct me if im wrong. Im just walk in home and can't check for sure.The only mode is connect to bluetooth. Enought for today.

    Good Night Lucky133, henkie in the guides there is nothing about pairing for GTV-BT1 but on the other hand it says GTV-IR1 but that TV button is not on GTV-BT3. But nothing happens when I try to teach GTV-BT3 probably because I have to press one or more buttons for it to get into learning mode. That's how it works for GTV-IR1 that it has to be put into learning mode.
