I have a mystifying issue that may be a Formuler Z11 Pro Max device issue ? My primary VOD streaming app is Stremio. It is setup with both Premiumize and Torbox debrid services using Torrentio, Comet and Media Fusion as scrappers. Approx. 1 month ago, Stremio stopped finding ANY Torrentio links – despite Stremio on my Buzz X5, Onn 4K Plus, and Windows laptop finding MANY Torrentio links from Premiumize and Torbox. The Formuler did find Comet and Media Fusion links but no Torrentio links. With Stremio being totally cloud based and not device based, I couldn’t think of any reason why the Formuler Z11 doesn’t see the same account details/links as all the other devices ?? So, I performed a factory reset of the Formuler and reinstalled and relinked all apps & also tried both wi-fi and ethernet connections. I’m still having the same NO Torrentio links. Other devices still always find MANY Torrentio links. My wife has learned how to use and navigate around the Formuler and really loves it. I hate to replace it with something new. Can you think of anything that could be causing this Torrentio “blocking” issue ??

Stremio is currently not available on the Play Store.
I recommend downloading the latest official version from the Stremio website, making sure to choose the Android TV version.
Also try changing the DNS (for example 1.1.1.1 or 8.8.8.8), as Torrentio is sensitive to DNS.
If you are using an ad blocker such as AdGuard Home or Pi-hole, the issue may also come from there, as some Torrentio domains can be blocked.
Finally, make sure to update Google services (Google Play Services, Android System WebView, and others) from the Play Store.
Use Kodi with the Elementum addon. Kodi runs very smoothly on the Formuler Z11 pro max. Additionally, Kodi supports OpenSubtitles.

Thanks patch. I will try the DNS change you recommended. Your DNS comment also made me think to play with VPN locations and even turn VPN off. I turned off Nord VPN and the Torrentio links reappeared for most but not all videos. Switched to Surfshark and links were not blocked. So, somehow Nord seems to be interfering with Torrentio links. I should have thought about the VPNs, but your comment triggered the solution. Now to find out why Nord is blocking Torrentio. Will contact their tech support.

In nordvpn app you can also change dns yourself to 9.9.9.9 or google 8 8 8 8 or cloudfare 1.1.1.1.
Try all 3

I have stremio on the same box. Torrentio disappeared from addons completely. The rest of addons is working fine. I don’t know how it’s working on other boxes but as far as I know, torrentio is not working at all.

It's also removed from the playstore.
Here above I posted the latest version.

I changed Nord VPN Server locations and also my Premiumize server location to OVH North America High Performance and Torrentio links reappeared.

Good news !
Can you play 4K movies with Stremio on the Formuler Z11 pro max ?
And with which settings ?
On my side, Stremio always forces FHD 1920×1080, even though my TV is 4K.
-
I have Stremio setup with both Premiumize and Torbox debrid services. Using Torrentio, Torbox, Comet and Media Fusion as Add-ins linked to both debrid services usually finds many 4k feeds. I have an LG G3 OLED which is 4k as well. When playing one of these 4k feeds, I do get a note on the screen while loading the video that says "Applied Display Mode [email protected]". I had to change my HDMI cable to get my Formuler to connect at latest connection standard.
Chat GPT replied that : [email protected] = Full HD (1080p) resolution at the cinematic 23.976 fps frame rate — exactly what you want for watching most movies without judder. It's normal, intended behavior in Stremio when frame rate matching is turned on. If you don't like the flicker or forced change, you can disable frame rate matching in the app settings.
-
I don’t think I changed the Stremio default setting ? But the Frame Rate Matching was evidently set to “Frame Rate Only”. I changed it to “disabled” and now do not get that notice of FHD resolution and frame rate while loading 4k videos. Will see if the slight motion stutter mentioned is a problem, I doubt it.

Stremio user here on a z11 pro max
No issues per se, but a couple things I’ve noticed
Recently torrentio has been going down…a lot. Within the last couple months it’s been quite patchy, going down for a day or so at times. Added comet as an alternative.
Set up a stremio + rd account for a friend abroad and it would not find any torrentio links at all. As if it was being blocked in their country.
That doesn’t explain why it works on your other devices tho. I would try to remove torrentio completely then reinstall it. I don’t think it’s a z11 issue imo -
I have done a factory reset of the Z11, reinstalled Stremio, deleted and reinstalled all Stremio addons, linked my Premiumize and Torbox debrid accounts to the newly installed Torrentio, Comet and StreamThru Torz add-ons. This is the identical configuration on my Buzz TV X5, Mecool KM2 and Onn 4k Plus. The times that the Z11 links in Stremio and Syncler do not play is very frequent -- it's rare that any of the other 3 have similar issues. They all find numerous links -- that's not the problem.
I have the Z11 and Buzz connected thru my A/V receiver to an LG OLED TV so I can switch back and forth between the two devices. I often find the same link will play fine on the Buzzz and not on the Formuler. I have tried both the built-in ExoPlayer and Just Player as an external player. Doesn't seem to make a difference. Also tried switching to Google Public DNS without curing the issue. Still not giving up. Using Nord VPN on fastest location on all boxes. Going to play around with different country server locations and also trying Surf Shark VPN to see if either change makes a difference. Will update if I get any breakthrough.

Someone say Italy or Canada, Denmark worked with it.
For the rest i don't know, just try my friend.
Goodluck
