MTOL+ error -1

  • Hi - newbie here. I installed MTOL+ only a few days ago, on both my iPhone (iOS version) and my android tablet (Android version), and all was fine.

    Went to use today, and on both devices it’s not working. It comes up with error -1.

    From Google, I read to check Private Relay on my phone, but it’s already switched off.

    Can anybody please advise what the problem might be please?

  • Are you on mobile network? If so, please connect the device to wifi and check again.

    It could be that your IPTV service provider doesn't allow mobile network connections.

  • Hi - thanks for your reply. It doesn’t work on WiFi or network- exactly the same on both android and iPhone, WiFi and network.

    They were both working fine until yesterday, so I don’t think it’s about permissions or similar, unless of course the provider can detect usage and then blocks it??

    If it was working fine until yesterday, I assume there has been some changes to your IPTV server.

    You can try installing other streaming apps like Televizo and see if the same or similar issue occurs.


    If it does, I suggest you try reaching out to your IPTV service provider.

    If it doesn't, please let me know.

  • Well, I don’t understand this, but having done nothing other than slept, I woke up this morning and tried the app on my phone and tablet, and they are both working fine again.

    So I can only assume that there was a service issue with the MTOL+ app yesterday, which has now been resolved.

    If that were the case, would it have come up on the screen as error -1. ??

    If you didn`t restarted phone and tablet and instantly tested the app again, then the issue was on your provider side. Seems the server was over night restarted and the issue gone.
