Z12 ethernet not connected

    My Z12 has been rock solid connected via ethernet but today the apps including mytv is saying not connected to Internet. Ive tried it on WiFi too but no apps are connecting to the net. The box setting clearly shows that it is connected to to router with excellent strength.

    Ive rebooted everything but the apps will not connect.

    Any advise please?

    Reboot router first. Then put on z12 if router is fully online and then connect ethernet cable. Turn wifi off on box and click on dhcp in ethernet settings and see if you get an ip addres.

    choose at private dns hostname quad9.

    Thanks for the quick reply Lucky133 I've tried what you suggested and in the box setting its connected to the ethernet and finding an IP with 1000Mbps Link Speed. Wifi is off and ive set DNS to quad9 but all the apps are still telling me that they can't connect to the network.

    So i found the problem my automatic date and time was set to off, i suspect someone has been fiddling about, it was showing Jan 2nd so as soon as I set it to automatic it all connected again 🙃 simple things hey.
