I think this was already addressed, but here are the instructions again.

    1. Connect the controller to your Formuler device with the USB cable.
    2. From the Market, download and install the Game Controller Test app.
    3. The controller should be recognized and the buttons you press on the controller should be shown visually on-screen.
    4. Now you have verified the controller is connected and working.

You asked how to connect the controller to the device and the method has been presented to you.

If it is not working with 3rd party apps, you may need to remap the buttons to something that particular app can recognize.

Don't ask me how to do this because I don't know. Try Googling the solution, maybe some information is out there.

If you can't be bothered to do some research on your own, the controller listed below works out-of-the-box with many 3rd party emus:

Unsolicited PMs for support will be ignored.

Duplicate support requests to the forums and helpdesk will be ignored.

  • I am sorry but no! I have done everything you have said over and over. I have uninstalled and reinstalled everything and tried it again and still no response. I have googled everything and still doesn’t work. The PS4 pad is unresponsive! It is an offical PS4 controller and there is zero reaction. There is also no need for your attitude 175n, don’t claim something works when clearly not just one person is having the same problem. THE PAD is unresponsive

I tried it again and again it does not work.

Not with cable, and not wireless.

The controller test app does not recognize the controller.

So I think the engineers have to analyze this situation further.

Do you have a Windows 10 PC and/or a Linux PC?

Please try to connect the controller to your Windows 10 PC via USB to see if the controller is recognized.

If you have a Linux PC, please connect the controller via USB and provide the lsusb output.

With the controller I have, both USB and the BT connection are working.

Maybe the controller you have is a different variant.

Can you provide a picture of the label on the bottom of your controller?

Please connect the controller to your PC again and provide a screenshot from the Device manager properties:

Device Manager > Sound, video and game controllers > Wireless Controller > Properties > Details > Hardware Ids.

    I'm using the CUH-ZCT2 (2nd Gen DS4 controller).

It is possible the current drivers aren't compatible with the older 1st Gen CUH-ZCT1 controllers

    formuler-support.tv/attachment/872/Where do I see that?

It is not listed under audio controllers section, but under human interface devices.

I checked it otherway, and my version is the first gen too (CUH-ZCT1E).

Is it possible to implement the drivers of the first gen?

Will ask the developers if it is possible, but it might take some time.

So tested now the new controller v2. Works like a charme BUT the input delay of wireless connection is too high. You can not play in this way.

175n do you know if you can decrease the input delay?

With cable connection, it is nearly too sensitive.

    I'm not PS4 controller specialist.

I think if you do google search for Android DS4 controller lag, you can find something to help you.
