    Interesting question because I am now starting to look at everything recording and the Formuler.

    I never actually tried this way of recording, I have always been inside of MOL2.

    Now this may be different for MOL, but I do not know (I am using a Z8).

    When I mention that I close out of the program, I actually go to Menu --> Exit.

    Test One Results:

    -I scheduled a recording, exited MOL2 and left it on the the splash screen (app screen) and did nothing.

    -5 minutes before the scheduled recording time, an MOL2 popup opens giving me the options below.

    GO TO LIVE - Cancel Record - Close.

    -I did not close it and left it open, untouched and then 2 minutes before the start of the schedule recording, MOL2 opened to my last played channel.

    -Then 1 minute or so before the recording, MOL2 switched to the channel I was scheduled to record.

    -Recording starts at scheduled time.

    Test Two Results:

    -Scheduled a recording.

    -Exited out of MOL2.

    -Opened Tivimate watched some TV and then MOL2 interrupted me with the same popup from above reminding me that there was a scheduled recording.

    -Left the popup untouched.

    -5 minutes before the scheduled program, I was logged out of Tivimate and logged into MOL2.

    -MOL2 opened the last program I was watching and then switched to the recording channel a minute or so before the recording time.

    -Recording starts at scheduled time.

    Looks like MOL 2 is going to get you that recording no matter what. Love it!!!!!!!

    I'll try this on Mol1 tonight.

    The reason i would hope this feature exists on mol1 is my provider has some sort of time limit and your stream stop needing a restart.

    This is a problem if you need to leave the app open and your recording something while your out beyond the providers limit. If you can exit the app totally then your not effecting the providers limit.

    I did kind of test it but it didnt work for me so thought id ask if it should work.
