    happy to say the schedule recording appears to be working in the new update.


    I do have a couple of questions about that and catchup as I think they both relate..


    scheduled recording: Iets say I’m watching a channel and the scheduled recording is on another, when the time comes the channel duly changes and records as planned however; it seems to record 5 mins after that programme has started... is there a way to change the start time for the recording much like you can to allow extra recording time?

    Additionally when watching something on catchup, I select a programme and it reverts to 5 or 10 mins of the previous one first... that’s not such an issue however; the programme then stops 5-10 mins before the end and you have to select the next one to catch the ending of the other... make sense?


    is this an epg issue, if so can it be looked at or if not, what could it be?

    EPG's can be inaccurate, this can even be caused by lack of updates from the broadcasters and by last minute updates done by broadcasters which are never reflected in the EPG data.

    Nevertheless, MOL2 allows you to config extra time:

    MOL2 > Menu > Settings > Extra recording time > Choose 1/3/5/10 minutes (will be added before EPG program start time and after EPG program end time)

    And in my experience, from the moment the recording clock starts, it can still take up to a minute before the recording really starts. Depending on the channel and codec and perhaps other stuff...
