Isn't this possible in settings?
At screen setup?
I dont know the preciesly name
And there is another option in the settings for user interace. You can set it to 720p or 1080p.

Or maby if you have an computer monitor with hdmi?
With a computer screen there is a button for auto adjustment for settings and or a menu where you can adjust screen settings if its not automatic.
After adjustment connect it to your tv again

And you hold the resolution button in for 5 seconds? (Under the blue button)
And you have set your "dispaly area" under settings right?
