Prime App Stream Quality

Hi,

I put the Z8 box into operation yesterday.

Now the question is, what do I need to adjust so that the quality of the Prime Video app, which I downloaded from the Google Play Store, matches the quality of the app on my Samsung Smart TV.

Both apps actually have exactly the same settings. There is not much you can do except to set the streaming quality to "optimal".

The problem is that when I run a stream, the prime app on the Samsung TV is sharp in 1080p, but the prime app on the box only runs in 720p or worse quality. This is true for all streams.

What am I doing wrong?

The prime app on the Z8 is a nightmare! I don’t understand what build was used. I have a Sony 65AG9 and the Prime app Sony is using over the google play store is another world! It’s annoying because I would like to use all media streaming on the Z8 but the prime app is a disaster.. I tried also the one from marketplace, same bad build...maybe the admins can shed some light why it’s not the same build you have on the smart TVs

Because of two different standards, Smart TV have certificated Android TV and Z8 not certificated simple Android. Google and Netflix certification is not possible to get for this box. First because the Android is not own Android TV and second because Formuler is not extraordinary big sale Partner from them.

Prime also not certificated.
