If you have your GTV wired and vpn set to auto connect on boot, it won’t cause a delay in connecting to MTOL2

I’ve found that if you connect via wireless and have the vpn set to auto connect, depending how long it takes for your gtv to get the ssid it may cause a delay connecting to MTOL2... apart from that works perfect...

As for vpn via router, I’d suggest making sure that your supports auto reboot and do it say 03:00am each day. That way it automatically resets the vpn to ensure peak performance.

Finally if you use VM tv for example aswell and you install vpn on your router, VM won’t connect to their catchup or box sets service, YouTube, iPlayer etc through the TIVO box, That’s because it requires your actual IP address.

However if your router supports split tunnelling then add VM to a tunnel and use VPN for everything else.

More information there than you asked for but thought I’d mention it all haha.
